Mini Dental Implants

Mini Dental Implants are a fast, yet very effective way to stabilize your dentures or to replace your missing teeth. The mini dental implant procedure is only minimally invasive and can be done quickly. The mini dental implant procedure is a much less involved process than the conventional dental implants and can often be completed in one visit.

Routine Exams and Cleanings

Your regular exam will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Each regular exam includes a detailed teeth cleaning, in which we will clean, polish, and rinse your teeth to remove any tartar and plaque that has built up on the tooth’s surface. We suggest visiting our office every six months for routine cleanings.

Full & Partial Dentures

Dentures have come a long way, as today’s dentures are natural-looking and comfortable. We offer many other solutions to your dental problems with partial dentures and mini dental implants. We will customize your dentures to fit your unique bone structure and facial shape, that look and feel great!

Fillings

Tooth-colored fillings are made of porcelain, which is a mixture of plastic and glass that not only looks good, but is also better for your teeth. Today’s tooth-colored filling materials physically attach or bond to natural tooth service. Tooth colored fillings are strong, yet flexible just like natural teeth.

Sealants

Sealants are quick and easy tooth-colored plastic coated resin coatings designed to fill little grooves in your teeth to prohibit bacteria buildup. Your dentist will clean your teeth, then apply a solution that will allow the sealant to stick tightly to the tooth. The process is quite simple and can last for years.

Extractions

Teeth can be removed much easier than you might think. A simple tooth extraction is an in office procedure that can be completed by your regular doctor. This procedure is usually performed when teeth are too badly damaged to be saved involving specialized tools to lift or pull the tooth from its socket.

Root Canal

Root canal treatment — also called endodontics – is a set of specialized procedures designed to treat problems of the soft nerve tissue inside the tooth. While it’s often stereotyped as an unusually painful treatment, in most cases the procedure is no more uncomfortable than getting a filling.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening (or bleaching) is a simple, non-invasive dental treatment used to change the color of natural tooth enamel and is an ideal way to enhance the beauty of your smile. Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of most patients, there are a number of ways to whiten teeth.

Veneers

Veneers are thin, custom made pieces of durable, tooth shaped porcelain that are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a beautiful and attractive smile. Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating many dental conditions.

Crown and Bridge

When a significant amount of a tooth has been lost from decay or injury, but still worth saving – a crown may be in your best interest. A crown fortifies and restores damaged teeth, letting them function and look just like natural teeth. The process usually only takes a few weeks to create to help you look your best with your new smile.

Bondings

Dental bonding is an efficient, affordable process of bonding tooth-colored resin to the teeth to hide imperfections like small gaps, minor chips, and discoloration. Along with cosmetic benefits, bonding can also be used to fill cavities.

Sleep Apnea Treatment

Obstructive sleep apnea is a sleep-related breathing disorder that involves a decrease or complete stoppage of airflow despite an ongoing effort to breathe. It occurs when the muscles relax during sleep, causing soft tissue in the back of the throat to collapse and block the upper airway.

Gum Disease Treatment

There are many successful treatment options available for gum disease of any stage – losing teeth doesn’t have to be an option. Our dental professionals will help decide which method of treatment is best for you, getting you your smile back to the way it once was.

Clear Aligners

Krystal Klear is a clear aligner system used to straighten teeth as an alternative to traditional braces. Similar to other clear aligner brands (like Invisalign), Krystal Klear aligners straighten teeth using a series of clear, custom-made, removable aligners that over time, move your teeth, eventually correcting them.

Mouthguards

Mouthguards (or night guards) help those suffering from chronic teeth-grinding during sleep, otherwise known as bruxism. Night guards issued by your dentist are often the highest quality you will find as well as the most superior fit as they are made in a special laboratory from an impression of your mouth.

Emergency

You never know when you’re going to need urgent dental care. When you have a dental emergency in the Winthrop, NY area, seek out a knowledgeable, friendly dentist who takes same-day appointments like Dr. Guldan.
